BioNano Analysis: fragments predicted from reference

Description

The Irys System from BioNano produces ordered restriction maps from individual molecules of genomic DNA. Each single-molecule restriction map (rMap) is a direct measurement of the source genome, free from biases introduced by cloning, amplification, or hybridization. This track presents the set of fragments that would be expected based on the reference sequence, based on an in silico restriction digest. It is complemented by the 'BioNano Analysis: Alignments' track, which displays experimental data for individual strains.

Display Conventions and Configuration

BioNano produces ordered restriction maps. This track shows restriction fragments as a result of in silico restriction digest of the reference assembly. Restriction cut-sites are displayed as vertical lines.

Methods

The Irys System from BioNano. See References section below for further details.
